Jury Special Mention Award

The Jury Special Mention Award category was introduced in the 2019 edition of the Sustainability 4.0 Awards to recognize Programs or Initiatives that have resulted in environmental protection, social well-being and/or economic prosperity within an organization’s operations and in the community; and are scalable and replicable models for others. A Program may comprise investment/infrastructure development initiatives, reform/non-investment initiatives or both. The Award category is open only to companies participating in the current edition of the F&S-TERI Sustainability 4.0 Awards. Each company can nominate a maximum of two programs under the category.

Initially, a Program will be reviewed by the assessment team during the on-site assessment and submitted to jury with its observations. The Programs shortlisted by the Jury shall be required to be presented by the respective companies at the Jury Meeting. A Program shall be evaluated by the Jury basis parameters such as innovativeness, result- and measurable progress-oriented approach, sustainability, scalability, replicability, additionality, impacts and outcomes, stakeholders' involvement, and timeframe. The Program finally chosen by the Jury shall receive the 'Jury Special Mention Award'.
